Mostly cloudy, becoming windy, and turning colder with mixed precipitation gradually changing to all snow; heavy snow is possible from late Sunday morning into Sunday evening. Snow accumulation of 5"-12�+ is possible by late Sunday night. Blowing and drifting snow is possible by Sunday night.

In Iowa, this includes the counties of ALLAMAKEE, CLAYTON, DELAWARE, and DUBUQUE. In Illinois, this includes the counties of JO DAVIESS and STEPHENSON.

A WINTER STORM WATCH has been issued from late tonight through Sunday morning for north-central and northeastern Illinois, including the counties of WINNEBAGO, BOONE, and McHENRY (this includes Rockford metropolitan area and the far northern and northwestern suburbs of Chicago).

A FLOOD WATCH has been issued from late tonight through Sunday afternoon for north-central and northeastern Illinois, including the counties of WINNEBAGO, BOONE, and McHENRY (this includes Rockford metropolitan area and the far northern and northwestern suburbs of Chicago).
